In the morning conditions will remain favourable with fairly sunny weather. In the afternoon, more clouds will appear, and in the evening a cold front will bring heavy showers in places, strong gusts of wind and a sharp drop in temperature.

A stormy northerly flow will bring polar air masses into the Alpine region.
Cold and partly stormy north wind. Initially, snow will still fall in many mountain ranges. As the day progresses, the snowfall will be confined to the main Alpine ridge. Heaviest snowfall between the Brenner Pass and the Staller Sattel.

Saturday will bring largely sunny conditions. The gusty northerly foehn wind will ease somewhat.
On Sunday, cloud cover will increase again over the main Alpine ridge, whilst further south there will be a mix of sun and clouds. The Föhn conditions will persist.
Monday will be changeable in the northern parts of the region, with plenty of cloud and a few snow showers. Further south, the weather will be partly sunny.
